Okay, I’ve known about these dates for quite awhile…but I’m still swamped with filling wholesale orders and preparing for the shows that start in TWO WEEKS!!! *GASP*  I think I thought if I put off posting my show dates, they wouldn’t come so quickly…but nope, they’re still just around the corner!

So here it is for all of you to take in!  Hopefully you’ll be able to come and see us at a show (or two!)

Stellar Designs Show Schedule

I am anxiously awaiting a shipment from Happy Hippo with their new Cupcake Lip Icings!!!  If they’re as cute as I remember them being, they’ll be part of my Fall Cupcake-themed gift set!  How cute will that be?!?!? A cute-as-a-button Stellar cupcake necklace paired with an lip-smacking-delicious pot of cupcake lip icing!  Yum-o!!!  And the best part is the whole thing is Canadian made!!! Yeah Canada!

I love this time of year!  It’s when I finally get to make my ideas come to life, all just in time for Fall craft and trade shows!  Now if only I didn’t have to actually pay for all the supplies…’cuz that’s no fun at all!!!

Hello Cupcake!!!

Deeelicious!!! Happy Hippo Lip Icing! Mmmmmm!

So not only is this the last day of August, but it’s also the last day of the last month that I’ll spend completely in my 20’s…yep, that’s right.  Later this month I’ll launch offically into a brand new decade.  Uncharted territory for this girl!  I’m not particually worried, or scared…I really don’t know what to think or feel!  I’m just hoping that I don’t have a nervous breakdown or some sort of life crisis!  Although,  we’re spending my birthday with Miss Britney Spears (yes, you heard that right…my first day in my new decade will be spent with thousands of screaming teenagers!) , so that should be plenty fun and interesting!  Kind of like a circus perhaps…LOL!

Here’s a little photo of my little Puglet!!!  She was helping me make jewelry for our upcoming  show. 

It was the first nice day of the summer, so I moved the “production line” to the outdoors to take advantage of the sunshine! 

She spent most of the day underneath my chair while I attached beads to wonky daisy pendants!  Alison was whipping up Sweetpea necklaces and my lovely mom was a doll and was stuffing the silver gift tins!

Our pug is such a little monkey!!!  Just look at that face!!! 

I had an absolutely “Stellar” weekend at the Kellie Picker (and Taylor Swift) concert here in Winnipeg!!! Kellie is such a sweetheart!  She’s so genuine, you can’t help but love her! (And you should have seen her SHOES!!! They were so incredibly sparkly!)

My sister, Alison was supposed to come along with me. (We got “super” pre-sale tickets from a girlfriend with connections), and were so stoked to be going together! But she got invited to a wedding, and had to go…:o( So my dear husband got to come along with me. He’s a huge Kellie fan too, so he was actually quite excited to be tagging along!

He was convinced that Kellie would recognize us in the crowd, since we met her a few years ago…she actually came over to our house! (No kidding!!!) I didn’t want to act like a “star-struck fan” so I didnt’ ask for an autograph or anything…silly me…which brings me to another regret of mine…

My husband told me that we’d get our camera confiscated if I took it in to the concert, so I left it at home! What a mistake! We could have got some awesome shots too…Now that’s TWICE I’ve missed out on Kellie photos…I’ll know better for next time…sigh…

A  BIG Thank-you to all the Stellar girls who came out for our Holiday Event on Dec. 4th!  Here are some photos of the evening!  It was a huge success!  Thanks again everyone!!!

So I’ve finally decided that I need more room than what I’m currently using in our computer/craft room…so we’re building my very own “Stellar” studio in the basement!!!  And it’s going to be HUGE!!!  I love that my husband thinks that our house is a “factory”, so he’s not complaining at all about my studio idea! 

I’ve searched the internet and found a photo of what I think I would like, and I’ve taken a photo of what the space currently looks like in our unfinished basement.  Take a look…it will be interesting to see if it’ll actually end up looking like my plan! 

Studio Inspiration

I dragged my super helpful and handy Dad to Home Depot yesterday to pick up all the wood for studding and a bunch of other “boy” buiding stuff.  Luckily I negotiated 10% off, so I saved some sweet moolah!  Gotta love that!

“Construction” starts on Wednesday…the plan is to finish in 10 weeks!  Fingers crossed!!!
